The Equine ProTeam is a joint effort of many equine health care professionals to deliver
quality natural equine health care and education to American's horse owners. The members
of the Equine ProTeam are committed not only to delivering quality health care to their
clients' horses, they are also committed to providing education on health topics.
While each professional maintains his or her own practice, the members freely consult among
themselves to maximize the health care results they deliver. This communication between
specialists, veterinarians associated with the Team, and the clients' veterinarian delivers
better, proactive health care through collaboration.
The Equine ProTeam uses natural and preventative strategies to maximize the health of the
horse, focusing on the whole horse. Through maintenance of the feet, the teeth, and the
feed along with organic approaches to specific health indicators have shown to deliver
superior results than waiting for symptoms to appear and then respond.
We deliver this care through the individual practices of our members. We deliver the
education through our clinics, our newsletters, and on-site as we provide our health

We also support our efforts through sales of products that we use ourselves and well as
nominal income from membership and from promotion of other professionals in the field.
The Equine ProTeam is designed to serve the horse industry through:
- Education
- Referral to quality providers of equine health services
- Protection of the horse-owners' rights to control the care of their livestock
- Advocacy to change the law to allow qualified non-veterinarians to provide responsible
health care in tandem with established veterinarian care - Support for non-veterinarians health care providers
The Equine ProTeam welcomes the affiliation of other responsible qualified equine health
providers, the discovery of quality natural products useful to horse-owners, and the
development of a body of knowledge to provide the horse-owner credible, simple and usable
information on equine health care.
The Equine ProTeam offers the complete package for The Whole Horse: education and
